MAYOWA ADEFUYE is a 5^th year student in the University of Ibadan studying Medicine and Surgery. She has held secretarial positions in several organisations and is currently the Business Manager of DOKITA Editorial Board.

She has been involved in various research activities including Incidental Findings of Gallstones in University College Hospital, Ibadan and hopes to do much more. She was an attendee of the First NeuroAIDS Conference and the First Neurorehabilitation conference in Nigeria.

She believes strongly in giving back to the community and is involved in various outreach programmes. She is currently a member of the Senior Citizens Volunteer Club, a club comprising of students who dedicate a part of their time to caring for the elderly and Hamstrings Club, a socio-philanthropic organisation with various activities geared towards catering for the health of members of the community especially the underprivileged.

She firmly believes that there is so much the young minds have to offer, she is excited to be a part of the organising committee and looks forward to meeting great minds.
