AKINGBADE AKINTOBA EMMANUEL is currently in his penultimate year, and will graduate from the College of Medicine, University of Ibadan in 2019, with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degree.  He has served as member (2014-2016), and secretary (2017) to the Electoral committee, University of Ibadan Medical Students Association.  He currently serves as Chair to the Electoral Committee.

He is heavily involved in several voluntary medical outreach programmes of which notable mentions include SAVED TO LOVE MISSIONS; a non-governmental organization providing basic healthcare to rural areas in southwest Nigeria, ABIYAMO Nigeria; a group which tackles major problems of maternal and child health with the aim to reduce the mortality indices, amongst several others.  He is involved in the mentorship of young medical students, as well as research especially in the field of mental health.  He loves reading about the latest in mobile, automotive, and information technologies, as well as new discoveries in space and astronomy. He looks forward to meeting all conference delegates, and charting a new course from deliberations at this year’s General Assembly.
